Bad socks

After two washings in cold water and air dryed, they had shrunk so much that I couldn't put them on my feet any more.

Hi Jeff,
We are sorry to hear that! Wool can shrink with the movement of washing. You may be able to gently stretch them back out.
Just for future reference, here are the care instructions per Wigwam:
Turn socks inside out before washing
Wash in warm water (maximum water temp is 120° F / 50° C)
Do not bleach
Do not use fabric softener
Tumble dry or lay flat to air dry (Use normal cycle setting, set dryer to lowest heat)
