The Drymax Work Over The Calf Sock is a high-density sock. I usually buy Thorlo, but wanted to try a thinner over-the-calf sock (I bought 2 pairs), and was raving about them just the other day.
However, after only 2 wears and washing as recommended, I noticed a hole near the heel tonight. Very disappointing - particularly, given the price.
I have been wearing Dry Max socks for many years. You guys are great. Excellent customer service.
Husband loves them
One thing not previously mentioned is durability. These socks are tough! The XXL size will comfortably fit up to size 17 btw. They also have a compression factor. I'd call them medium compression, evenly distributed. I bought several brands of OTC compression socks, some up into the $30+ range. I prefer the Drymax if that factor was the only one considered, but of course there are many others, including price.
These socks are amazing. I ordered 1 pair and after wearing I immediately ordered 2 more pairs. Curious...One pair of the socks is about 2 inches shorter than the other 2 pair? I really don't care since the dryness factor and the compression factor are wonderful. Would definitely recommend these socks ...I bought the work boot over the calf style.
